Filtoria
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to Filtoria, including the iOS app, Android app, and eligible desktop or web checkout flows. The same product policy is used across platforms, with platform-specific purchase processing described where relevant.
1. Information we process
Filtoria may process the following information: app settings and tab conditions, X account identifiers and OAuth-related information, fetched post text and metadata, AI filter instructions and AI results, Firebase anonymous account identifiers, subscription and purchase status, support IDs, diagnostics voluntarily sent by the user, and security or error logs needed to operate the service.
2. X data and AI processing
When a user configures a tab or AI filter, Filtoria may fetch posts from X and may send selected post text, tab conditions, and AI instructions to AI providers or DevelopW-operated cloud functions to generate filtering, rewriting, classification, or summary results. AI-processed text is shown as AI-formatted content and should not be treated as the original post.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
For iOS, purchases are processed through Apple. For Android, purchases are processed through Google Play. For eligible desktop or web checkout flows, purchases may be processed through Paddle. DevelopW stores the minimum purchase, entitlement, wallet, and usage-limit information needed to provide access, restore subscriptions, investigate purchase reflection issues, and prevent abuse.
4. Storage and retention
Some information is stored locally on the device, such as tab settings, cached posts, AI results, and secure X account tokens. Some information is stored in Firebase or DevelopW-operated backend systems, such as anonymous user identifiers, subscription state, monthly usage counters, purchase records, and support investigation data. Cached AI or usage records may be deleted or aggregated when no longer needed for operation, support, security, or legal compliance.
5. Third-party services
- X API and X OAuth for account connection and post retrieval.
- Firebase for authentication, App Check, database, functions, and backend operation.
- AI providers used for filtering, rewriting, classification, or summarization.
- Apple, Google Play, and Paddle for payment and subscription processing.
- Website hosting, email, analytics, and security tools used for DevelopW websites and support.
6. User choices
Users can change tab conditions, disable AI filtering, remove local app data, disconnect or stop using X account features, cancel subscriptions through the purchase platform, or contact DevelopW to request support regarding account data, purchase reflection, or deletion.
7. Security
DevelopW uses reasonable technical measures, including Firebase App Check, authentication, server-side validation, and secure storage mechanisms, to reduce unauthorized access and API abuse. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
